Microsoft’s backward compatibility program for the Xbox One is getting support for a major Xbox 360 title. Grand Theft Auto IV is now playable on the Xbox One, bringing one of the biggest hits in the series to the new generation of consoles. The main game, as well as The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony DLCs, can be played on the Xbox One, following other Rockstar titles such as Red Dead Redemption and Alan Wake.

Those who had purchased GTA IV on the Xbox 360 will find it available for download in their Xbox One library; physical disc owners can plop it in their Xbox One’s disc reader and fire up the game. Those who missed playing the game back when it launched can simply buy the Xbox 360 version and step into Liberty City for either the single-player campaign or the extensive multiplayer. The campaign might not feature characters as interesting as Trevor Philips from GTA V, but it nonetheless features a enjoyable story and a slew of activities (including internet dating) to take part in.

GTA IV currently sells for around SGD 30, with the DLCs priced at rougly SGD 30 and SGD 20. All of them are now available on the Xbox Store.
