Microsoft is removing “snap” from the Xbox One. The feature allows users to snap an app to the side of the screen so that you can play a game while also listening to music, watching a streaming app, etc.
Snapped apps take up a fifth of the display, reducing the amount of space given to the active game.
We replaced Snap to improve multitasking, reduce memory use, improve overall speed, and free up resources going forward for bigger things.
