Microsoft will roll out a PlayStation Now and EA Access-like service in the spring. The service, known as Xbox Game Pass, costs $10 per month and provides access to around 100 titles. Some of the games are from the Xbox 360 and others are newer.
Among the games that’ll be available are Halo 5: Guardians, Payday 2, and NBA 2K16. A full list of titles was not provided.
Unlike PS Now, Xbox Game Pass isn’t a streaming service. Users will download and install the games they’re interested in playing. This increases the setup time, but reduces the chance of performance issues.
