Semiconductor distributor WPG Holdings has reported operating and net profits of NT$2.56 billion (US$81.3 million) and NT$1.87 billion, respectively, for the third quarter of 2016. Both results hit the highest quarterly levels in the company’s history.
WPG generated consolidated revenues of NT$142.26 billion in the third quarter, up 6.4% sequentially, while operating expense ratio slid to a record low of 2.37%. Operating profits soared 9.1% from the same period in 2015.
WPG’s net profits for third-quarter 2016 rose 15.5% from a year earlier with EPS reaching NT$1.12.
WPG’s revenues for the first three quarters of 2016 totaled NT$397.55 billion, while net profits grew 19.2% on year to NT$4.98 billion. EPS for the nine-month period came to NT$2.99.
