Wistron has disclosed it will invest in iSAFE, a developer of automotive computing solutions, for developing telematics and industrial IoT (Internet of Things) solutions.
With registered capital of NT$388 million (US$12.2 million) and paid-in capital of NT$188 million, iSAFE is a subsidiary of industrial computing device maker Ibase Technology. Ibase holds a 47.84% stake in iSAFE.
iSAFE specializes in automotive computing solutions for police cars, ambulances and fire engines on an after-market basis and for public buses on an OEM basis.
