Networking device supplier Wistron NeWeb has reported net profits of NT$636 million (NT$20.148 million) for the third quarter of 2016, increasing 5% from a year earlier. EPS for the quarter stood at NT$1.86, the company’s highest quarterly EPS in five years.
For the first three quarters of 2016, net profits totaled NT$1.539 billion or NT$4.49 per share on revenues of NT$39.8 billion.
The company’s stock price rallied 10% or NT$8.10 to close at NT$89.20 on the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TSE) during the November 10 session.
