Microsoft is today releasing a new build of Windows 10 Mobile to Windows Insiders in the Fast Ring. The company is today pushing out build 15207 to Windows Insiders in the Fast Ring, and it brings an improved setup experience (aka OOBE) for Windows 10 Mobile users. The new privacy section in the OOBE in Windows 10 Mobile is a lot similar to the one introduced for PCs with the Windows 10 Creators Update. It’s important to note that the new privacy page was actually added with last week’s build 15205, but today’s build includes a fix that lets users actually use the new privacy page.
The new privacy page in the OOBE improves the privacy of users, as it gives them access to some of the common privacy settings when setting up a new device. As a result, the user can disable any privacy-related feature they want right from the get-go. For instance, you can disable things like location, speech recognition, etc.
The new privacy measures are part of Microsoft’s efforts to improve privacy in Windows 10. The company recently detailed all the data it collects in Windows 10 and detailed some of the new privacy changes that were released with the Windows 10 Creators Update earlier this month.
If you are a Windows Insider in the Fast Ring, you can get build 15207 from Windows Update in the Settings app.
