Windows 10 Anniversary Update Available For Enterprises

219

Businesses can now install the Anniversary Update (Redstone 1) for Windows 10. They’re receiving the software four months after its August release. Businesses shouldn’t have to worry about issues with the update since Microsoft has been receiving feedback regarding Redstone 1 from OEMs and others.

Windows for businesses is available in a few stages. It’s first available through the “Current Branch,” which is meant to be a testing stage prior to a full deployment. The subsequent Current Branch for Business is what’s now available, meaning Redstone 1 is being deployed to all applicable PCs.

Enterprises have the ability to hold out on the update until they want to upgrade.

CB and CBB have an inherent ‘staging’ effect. Both of these branches have a purpose in the overall deployment process for an enterprise, providing another layer of testing capabilities in addition to the traditional phased deployment methods to specific groups of machines. – Microsoft
