Real protection vs mainstream garbage.,
I manage servers and workstations for telecoms and industrial manufacturing plants, and there are many bad choices in antivirus. I have tested many brands of antivirus products. and as most of us know the most marketed antivirus are typically the worst as protecting your computer. If a particular brand comes on your computer its not because its good, its because the manufacturer was paid to pre-load it on your computer. and if its the most expensive at your local store that doesn’t make it a good antivirus either.I only use ESET antivirus and Webroot antivirus. simply put they work well and have no noticeable performance degradation to the computer they are installed on. is any anti virus 100% effective? No! but you will never go back to false sense of security that Norton or McAfee offers that’s for sure.
