It seems that Vivo has managed to do what Samsung failed with the Galaxy S8 lineup, and even with the upcoming Galaxy Note 8. According to latest video, the China-based Vivo might be the first company to unveil a smartphone with an in-display fingerprint sensor.
The video shows a phone with an in-display technology in action. The thing we don’t know is whether users can place their finger anywhere on the display or only in a specific region. Except for the video, there is no further information about the handset at this point.
