Microsoft today released Windows 10’s upcoming My People experience to Windows Insiders. As you are probably aware by now, the My People experience in Windows 10 was initially expected to arrive with the Creators Update — in fact, it was one of the headline features of the update that started rolling out earlier this month. Microsoft, unfortunately, wasn’t able to get My People ready for the Creators Update and decided to roll it out with the upcoming Redstone 3 update instead.

My People is now – for Insiders, which means you can try out a fairly early version of the feature in Windows 10 if you are an Insider running the latest build (16184). The My People experience includes most of the features Microsoft promised, but it’s missing a key feature at the moment. In the video above, we take a closer look at the features that are available in My People but as we show in the video, you can’t drag and drop files just yet which is a bit disappointing.

At the moment, My People is a bit rough — both in terms of the design and stability, which is something Microsoft will definitely address before the Redstone 3 update is rolled out to the public later this year.
