When Galaxy S8 was unveiled, Samsung did say that Bixby is far from its prime time and that they have a lot of work to do before making it work like it should. However, the personal digital assistant ships with the phone and offers several features, one of which is the Bixby Vision.
The feature uses the camera to take a picture of something and get related images on Pinterest or options to buy more of the same product from Amazon, but Verizon has made some modifications to it. If you use the feature on Verizon’s model, you won’t get an Amazon link to purchase the identified item. This was confirmed by the carrier, who said that you need to use the Amazon app instead.
