Microsoft might not have big success with smartphones, but the rest of mobile lineup have been well accepted, especially the new Surface Book laptops and Surface Pro tablets. For 2017, Microsoft is preparing to launch a successor to the Surface Pro 4, which should be released as early as Spring 2017.
New leaked information has now detailed the tablet, hinting at more ports, storage, better hardware and more. The Surface Pro 5 will definitely use Intel’s latest Kaby Lake processor and will be paired with at least 512 GB of storage. There will be a USB-C port with full Thunderbolt 3 functionality as well as an integrated fingerprint sensor.
