The upcoming Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro smartphone was shown off by the company at Samsung Forum 2017 in China. If you have been following our coverage of the Galaxy C5 Pro, you will be aware that the smartphone has been cleared by China’s TENAA, the US FCC, as well as the Wi-Fi Alliance. We were expecting it to be announced alongside the Galaxy C7 Pro, but for some reason Samsung has delayed its announcement.

The Galaxy C5 Pro is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core chipset under the hood, clocked at 2.0 GHz. According to rumors, the smartphone will feature a 5.2-inch Super AMOLED display with 1080 x 1920 Full HD resolution, which would give it a pixel density of 424 pixels per inch. In the memory department, the Galaxy C5 Pro will offer 4GB of RAM along with 64GB of internal storage.

Similar to the Galaxy C7 Pro, the Galaxy C5 Pro is expected to sport 16MP resolution cameras both at the front as well as the rear. In China, the smartphone is tipped to cost 2499 Yuan at launch ($360). Although there is still no word on the handset’s release date, it is possible that the Galaxy C5 Pro will be silently announced for the Chinese market in the coming weeks.
