Ubisoft’s For Honor getting an open beta on February 9

215

Ubisoft’s upcoming medieval swordfighting game For Honor will be made available to gamers around the world in an open beta that launches on February 9th and runs until February 12, two days before the game is official set to release for consoles and PC. The open beta follows a closed beta that ended earlier this week and will offer a new gameplay mode dubbed Elimination, which will have players fighting it out in a best-of-five series without the option to respawn after losing a battle.

The open beta will also include the Dominion, Brawl, and Duel modes that were seen in the closed beta, and players will be able to play as nine of the 12 heroes in the final game. The retail version will have an additional mode that is not being offered in the open beta. Ubisoft is currently sending out notification emails to gamers about the beta, which will be available on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
