A flat rate subscription for Uber transportation is rolling out in New York City. The package, known as Uber Flat, lets people in the city get a ride with a flat fare of $6 for UberX and just $3 for UberPool. Three packages offering 10, 20, and 40 rides are available.
There’s a one-time subscription payment of $5 to $20 that must be paid upfront and each account is limited to a single package.
Once you get a package, the fare will be applied whenever you order an UberPool or UberX. All five boroughs are covered.
The rides will only be available for 30 days after your purchase. Rides are limited to $30. Once you get beyond that cost, you’ll need to pay any amount exceeding the limit.
