According to Chinese sources, TSMC is ramping up its production of 10nm chips to get ready for 2017. Many companies are preparing 10nm chips for 2017, and most of them will use TSMC for production, including Apple, MediaTek and Huawei, while Samsung will make its own and Qualcomm chips.
TSMC will supply Apple with the upcoming A11 chipsets, MediaTek with Helio X30 and Helio X35 chips and will provide chips for Huawei’s HiSilicon. The company will have big competition, as Samsung is in charge of production of Snapdragon 835 and Exynos 8895, the two most impressive chipsets for 2017.
