Toyota and Suzuki Announce Electric Car Partnership
Toyota and Suzuki have introduced a partnership to supply electrified automobiles for the world’s markets. The two firms had been contemplating the phrases of a collaboration involving electrified automobiles since 2017. Toyota brings its Toyota Hybrid System (THS), hybrid electrical automobile (HEV) parts similar to engines and batteries, and new electrified platforms such because the RAV4 and Corolla Wagon to Suzuki. Suzuki will use its strengths to produce small automobile platforms to Toyota for India, enable Toyota to undertake and manufacture newly developed Suzuki engines for small compact automobiles, and OEM provide Toyota with Suzuki’s India-produced automobiles for the African market. The two firms will proceed to compete towards one another.
