As we are waiting for the first Tizen 3.0-powered smartphones, Samsung has allegedly started development of its successor, the Tizen 4.0 operating system. Samsung has come a long way since the release of first Tizen OS, but it still has a lot of work to be done before catching Apple and Google.
The new version 4.0 is definitely a step ahead and according to the OS’s developer website, the first official version will be released in September 2017. The biggest surprise is .NET integration, which will enable more developers to jump on the platform.
