EA has picked up Respawn Entertainment, developer of the Titanfall series. It’s acquiring the developer in a deal worth over $400 million. They’ve worked together in the past, with EA publishing both of Respawn’s Titanfall games. A few projects are also underway between the companies, some of which have been revealed.
One of the upcoming titles is a third-person Star Wars game, which was announced last summer. Respawn also has another Titanfall game and a VR experience in the works.
We’re excited for one of the world’s leading game studios to be joining EA!
