Thermaltake launched the Smart BM2 line of mainstream, semi-modular energy provides. Available in mid-range capacities of 450 W (mannequin: PS-SPD-0450MNFABx-1), 550 W (PS-SPD-0550MNFABx-1), 650 W (PS-SPD-0650MNFABx), and 750 W (PS-SPD-0750MNFABx), these PSUs function single +12 V rail designs with 80 Plus Bronze effectivity, DC-to-DC switching, APFC, Japanese fundamental capacitors, and commonest electrical protections, towards over/under-voltage, overload, overheat, and short-circuit.
As semi-modular PSUs, the Smart BM2 comes with mounted 24-pin ATX, mounted 8-pin EPS, and a further 4+Four pin EPS mounted connector, on all 4 fashions. The 450 W and 550 W fashions supply two 6+2 pin PCIe energy connectors, whereas the 650 W and 750 W fashions supply 4. The 450 W, 550 W, and 650 W fashions supply six SATA energy connectors, whereas the 750 W mannequin tops it up with 9. All fashions supply 4 Molex and a Berg. Black, flat cables are provided on all fashions, together with for the mounted connectors. A 140 mm fan is used to chill the PSU, on all 4 fashions. Thermaltake is backing the Smart BM2 collection with 5-year warranties. The firm did not reveal pricing.
