First things first: You’ll need an entire desk (if you don’t want to wall-mount it, that is) to fit his beast of a chassis, which comes in at 1.35m wide and 25.5 Kg. You read that right. The width and bulk come from the fact that Thermaltake’s new take on the P7 range of chassis’ features a central section for your main hardware, and two lateral sections meant to hold your liquid-cooling shenanigans.
The main area features space for an E-ATX motherboard and all the hardware you need to get a desktop PC to function (there are multiple slots for SSDs and such, and even enough space for a third 480 mm radiator on the main chassis, alongside the two slots for such monstrosities already being available in the lateral sections of the case.
The entire case can be disassembled at your leisure, and sections of the main section can be mixed and matched for you to achieve your own vision of hardware placement. The lateral sections may also be moved around the main section, if you need to recoup some horizontal space, at 45°, 90°, and 270° off-angle. Keep in mind these wings do not feature a 5 mm tempered glass shielding like the main section does, though.
The Thermaltake Core P7 TG is available immediately with an adequately enormous MSRP of $300.Source: Tom’s Hardware
