Google had several smartphone-related projects over the last few years. Some have failed and some not. Project Ara, one of the most anticipated smartphone is unfortunately cancelled, but the company is still putting a lot of efforts into the similar project called Project Tango.
The world’s first commercial Project Tango smartphone is made by Lenovo and was officially unveiled back in June. Although it was expected to hit the market this summer, it got delayed due to unknown reasons.
Today, Google’s Clay Bavor confirmed that the Lenovo Phab2 Pro should be coming out next month. At $499, it is expensive, but it offers something that no other phone does.
