Xiaomi Technology has launched its Redmi Note 4 smartphone in the Taiwan market, priced at NT$5,999 (US$191) unlocked.
The Redmi Note 4 features a MediaTek Helio X20 10-core processor, 5.5-inch Full HD 401ppi 2.5D (curved-surface) touchscreen, 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera, with 3GB RAM/ 64GB ROM.
Xiaomi claimed that it has shipped over 100,000 Redmi Note 3 in the Taiwan market since the launch in March 2016, adding that monthly shipments of the model total 20,000 units currently.
Overall, Xiaomi has shipped over 400,000 units of its Note series products in Taiwan since 2013.
Meanwhile, Xiaomi noted that it shipped over 40,000 Mi Band 2 in the first 15 days in the local market after its launch on September 8. The vendor expects shipments of the Mi Band 2 in Taiwan to reach 100,000 units in October. The Mi Band 2, which features a 0.42-inch OLED display, is available at NT$865.
