Taiwan acquired export orders totaling US$37.66 billion in worth in April 2019, reducing 2.4% sequentially and three.7% on yr, in line with the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA).

IT/communication merchandise and digital merchandise have been the highest two classes in export order worth, with the previous producing US$10.53 billion and the latter US$9.72 billion.

The export order worth for January-April totaled US$145.64 billion, slipping 7.2% on yr.

Meanwhile, MOEA accepted 193 initiatives of direct funding in China proposed by Taiwan-based traders totaling US$1.458 billion throughout January-April 2019. The funding sum dropped 45.52% on yr, reflecting the influence from the US-China commerce disputes, MOEA famous.
