The Taipei International Electronics Show (Taitronics) 2016 is taking place during October 6-9, with 530 exhibitors from 11 countries using more than 1,000 booths. More than 3,000 international buyers are expected to visit the exhibition, according to the organizers the Taiwan External Trade Development Council and Taiwan Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers’ Association.
Secretary of India’s Ministry of Electronics and IT Aruna Sundararajan also came to the show leading a delegation of over 120 members from the country.
In addition, India-based exhibitors occupy 45% more booths than in the previous year.
The government of Akita Prefecture, Japan also visited the show with another 50 people from Akita’s IT-related enterprises and media.
The show also invited several international vendors from countries such as South Korea, Hong Kong, the US, France, Indonesia, Singapore and China to exhibit their latest innovations and products. The host expects the show to become a bridge to connect Taiwan’s IT industry with international markets and a platform for international partnerships.
