TAG Heuer today announced its first smartwatch running on Google’s latest Android Wear 2.0 platform, the Connected Modular 45. As its name clearly suggests, the new smartwatch from TAG Heuer is arguably the most customizable smartwatch yet.

You can not only swap the straps, lugs, and buckles, but also swap the watch head with a mechanical head from the Calibre Heuer 02T or Calibre 5. The actual Connected Modular 45’s head has a 45mm diameter and features a 1.39” AMOLED display with 400 x 400 resolution, resulting in a pixel density of 287 pixels per inch. The display is protected by scratch-resistant sapphire cover glass that happens to be 2.5mm thick. Powering the smartwatch is an Intel Atom Z34XX processor, paired with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of flash storage.

On the connectivity front, the smartwatch includes Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth Low Energy 4.1. List of sensors include an accelerometer, gyroscope, tilt detection, microphone, vibrations/haptic engine, ambient light sensor, GPS, and NFC for payment. TAG Heuer claims the Connected Modular 45 delivers up to 25 hours of battery life with normal usage, thanks to a 410mAh battery inside.

The Connected Modular 45 is compatible with all Android 4.3+/iOS 9+ devices, although features do vary between platforms. TAG Heuer’s Connected app lets you access various features to leverage your watch content. The app lets you browse through your collection of watch faces, upload a photo to create a custom watch face, and more.

TAG Heuer’s latest smartwatch starts at $1,650, which is slightly lower than its first smartwatch. You can customize your own on the company’s website, with a choice of Titanium, Ceramic, Leather, and Rubber straps.
