If you own a Galaxy Note 5 on T-Mobile in the United States keep an eye out for an update notification because the country’s third largest mobile carrier has just started rolling out the September security update for this device. Samsung first released the September patch a couple of days ago across Europe and yesterday it formally detailed all of the fixes that are included in this latest security maintenance release.
Software version N920TUVS4DPH2 is now being rolled out by T-Mobile for the Galaxy Note 5 on its network. The update weighs in around 76MB and since it’s only a security maintenance release, the changelog simply mentions that this update improves the security of the Galaxy Note 5. Don’t worry if you haven’t received the update notification as yet, T-Mobile has just started rolling out this update so it may take up to a couple of hours for it to go live across all regions.
