Unlimited T-Mobile customers will no longer automatically receive unlimited high-speed data when traveling in Canada or Mexico. The wireless carrier is implementing a 5 GB per month cap on November 12, limiting the amount of LTE data you can utilize beyond the United States.
Although you’ll never be charged for going over that cap, your data connection will be limited to as little as 128 Kbps. That’s too slow to allow for video streams or other data-intensive internet usage.
You can add unlimited international data for $25 extra per month.
