Though information posted to Microsoft’s Surface Pro store indicated the Surface Pro LTE would not become available until spring 2018, that doesn’t appear accurate. According to a new statement from the company, the model is on track for a release by the end of this year.
Microsoft removed the initial statement from its store.
The company revealed the LTE model in May and followed up that announcement by saying it’d become available in December. LTE is likely to only be available with Surface Pro models using Intel Core i5 processors.
