The first smartphone launched with Google’s latest mobile operating system is now available in the United States. Sony has just announced that the unlocked Xperia XZ1 handset with Android 8.0 Oreo is available for purchase in the US for $699.99.
Amazon is currently the only retailer that is selling the phone, but it is only a matter of time before other retailers and carriers start selling the phone. It is avilable in Black, Moonlight Blue, Warm Silver, or Venus Pink, and works only on GSM/LTE carriers (including AT&T and T-Mobile).
The successor to the Xperia XZs and Xperia XZ feature similar design, but improved specifications. It is features by Snapdragon 835 processor, 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of expandable storage, a 19 MP Eye Motion camera with 960fps video recording, a 13 MP front camera and a 2,700 mAh battery.
