Sony has been busy lately with a software update as it has released several fixes over the last few weeks. Today, the company has finally fixed the image distortion bug that has been causing problems to Xperia XZ1 and Xperia XZ1 smartphone owners.
This update comes bundled with the November Android security patch and has build version 47.1.A.5.51, while the Android version remains 8.0 Oreo. After you install the update, a Correction of image distortion toggle can be found in the camera settings. It is rolling out across all regions, but you might have to wait a few days before it reaches your phone.
