Sony has just announced two new smartphones called Xperia R1 and Xperia R1 Plus. The two new models are “designed for Indian lifestyle” and “designed to excite the new Indian”, and will probably only be launched in India.
The Xperia R1 starts at INR 13,990 ($210) and the Xperia R1 Plus at INR 15,990 ($250). The Plus variant comes with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB storage, while the base model has 2 GB RAM and 16 GB storage, and that is the only difference between them.
Both phones will be available across India from November 10 in Black and Silver.
