Sony looks to be done with the announcement of new smartphones for this year and is already looking forward to next year. The first two smartphones announced by the company are going to be the Xperia G3121 and G3112, which have leaked a few times so far.
Their internal model numbers don’t tell us much except to suggest they may be mid-range or even low-end devices. However, new details point out to more premium handsets. According to Weibo post, the smaller of the two handsets will feature a 5-inch or 5.2-inch display with a 1080p resolution, while the larger premium model will have a 5.5-inch display with a 4K resolution and 4 GB of RAM.
Both phones should be announced at MWC 2017 in Barcelona early next year.
