Sonnet Technologies isn’t the most popular company and you might never heard about it, but the company has now unveiled an all-new paradigm in Thunderbolt connected external GPU (eGPU) device called eGFX Breakaway Puck. The main difference compared to most other external eGPU solutions is that Sonnet Technologies wanted to make a compact eGPU designed to fit in your bag.
The all-in-one eGPU supports all Thunderbolt 3 computers and comes with a built-in AMD Radeon RX 560 or RX 570 graphics card. It measures 6 x 5.1 x 2 inches (15.2 x 13 x 5.1 cm)
The Sonnet eGFX Breakaway Puck is priced at $449 for the RX 560 model and $599 for the RX 570 model.
