SilentiumPC is launching a new flagship CPU cooler with XE technology, the Grandis 2 XE1436.
The dual-radiator design of the Grandis 2 XE1436 gives it a massive heat dissipation area and the XE Technology – solid copper heat spreader helps maximize the potential of the cooler’s six Φ6mm heat-pipes. It gets two quiet PWM-controlled Sigma PRO fans (140 + 120mm) that are claimed to generate a maximum noise of just 21 dBA when running at maximum speed. The 140mm and 120mm Sigma Pro fans push out up to 58.00 CFM and 46.50 CFM air flow, respectively.
As far as compatibility goes, the Grandis 2 XE1436 supports processors with a maximum TDP of 250W and most modern Intel and AMD CPU sockets such as LGA2011 v3/LGA2011, LGA115x, LGA1366, AM3+, and FM2+. In terms of dimensions, the cooler measures 130 x 105 x 159mm and weighs in at 1.03 kg. It offers a secure mounting system, which ensures optimal pressure and a straightforward installation. It even comes with an extra pair of fan mounting clips that will allow users to add an additional fan for a triple-fan configuration, if they so desire.
Overall, the new SilentiumPC Grandis 2 XE1436 seems like a solid CPU cooler that should appeal to all the overclockers and serious gamers out there looking for a powerful yet silent CPU cooler for their gaming system. SilentiumPC hasn’t revealed any price or availability info yet though, so we will need to wait a little longer for the details to arrive.
