Sharp has just announced that it has expanded its Aquos series of smartphones with a new compact variant. Dubbed the Aquos Xx3 mini, the handset packs a 4.7-inch display with Full HD resolution. It will be available in Japan four months from now, in February 2017.
Its 4.7-inch 1080p IGZO display has a pixel density of 469ppi, which is better than the Sony Xperia X Compact. Other specs are pretty decent, with Snapdragon 617 chipset, 3 GB of RAM, 16 GB of expandable storage, a 21 MP primary camera with an f/1.9 aperture lens, an 8 MP selfie shooter and a 2,400 mAh battery.
