ShareSquare Raising $1.5M

Los Angeles-based ShareSquare, the QR-code firm headed by Matthias Galica, said Friday that the firm is in the process of closing $ 1M to $ 1.5M in funding on AngelList, as the firm ramps its development efforts. Galica said it is looking to double its existing, six-person team to more quickly develop its products. ShareSquare develops a service which allows users to create their own QR codes–3D barcodes–which are being used for promoting musicians, bands, and other entertainment. Galica did not disclose investors in the round, and did not detail how far along to closing the firm is for the seed funding. READ MORE>>
