A month back we got our hands on a newly launched TV box dubbed as the Scishion V88 PRO. After the review, we found out this is a quite attractive TV box capable of bringing much joy to our lives and it will also allow us to organize our own television in the way we want. Though the Scishion V88 PRO was considered as a mid-range TV box, it is capable of providing 4K, 3D and HD media content. Moreover, it was priced at $30, which is a very affordable price tag for such models. But today we have found out its sibling, the original Scishion V88 has got a price cut and it is now available for only $24.99. Agree this is a great price tag for a TV box. As for the features, the original Scishion V88 doesn’t differ much from the Pro version. It comes with the same connectivity options including a HDMI, RJ45, SPDIF, USB2.0 ports and SD Card slot. But the things change when it comes to the hardware. The Scishion V88 sports an RK3229 quad-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz and paired with a Mali-400 GPU, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of ROM that can be expanded up to 16GB. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and Kodi 16.1. This is not the latest version, but it still provides a respectable displaying experience. At last, the Scishion V88 supports 4K thanks to H.265 video decoding.
Agree this is not the best TV Box we have ever seen, but we will pay only $24.99 for it, which means this is a must-have device.
