Save up to $300 when you buy the Motorola Moto Z Force Droid…

244

How would you like to trade in your old phone and get as much as $300 off the Motorola Moto Z Force Droid or Motorola Moto Z Droid? Verizon has a deal available for a limited time, and it is open to those purchasing either phone from Verizon’s online store only. Here is how it works. When you are ready to make your purchase, go to Verizon’s web site and select which of the two models you are going to buy. Using the monthly device payment option, add the Moto Z Droid or Moto Z Force Droid to your online shopping cart at Verizon’s online store.

You will be asked to click on the “trade-in old device” option. That will take you to a special page where the value of your trade will be determined. Phones with a cracked display are okay. Just keep in mind that only certain models will be eligible for the top $300 trade-in credit. Those handsets include the Samsung Galaxy Note 5, Samsung Galaxy S6, Samsung Galaxy S6 edge, Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, HTC One M9, Apple iPhone 6, LG G4 and the LG V10.

You will soon receive a box from Verizon. Place your trade-in into the box, and send it to the carrier. New customers will receive an electronic gift card valued at the amount of the trade-in within two weeks. Existing Big Red subscribers will receive an account credit within one to two billing cycles.

The Motorola Moto Z Force Droid features a 5.5-inch AMOLED screen with a 1440 x 2560 resolution. The Snapdragon 820 SoC is under the hood with a quad-core 2.2GHz CPU and the Adreno 530 GPU. 4GB of RAM is inside along with 64GB of expandable internal memory. A 2TB capacity microSD slot is available to those seeking additional storage. The 21MP rear-facing camera includes OIS and an f/1.8 aperture. A 5MP camera adorns the front of the device. There is a fingerprint scanner embedded in the home button, and a 3500mAh battery keeps the lights on. Android 6.0 is pre-installed. The phone is coated for protection from light rain and accidental spills, and the “ShatterShield” will keep your butterfingers from cracking the screen when you drop the device.

There are only a few differences between the Motorola Z Droid and the Motorola Z Force Droid. One is the smaller 13MP rear camera. We should point out that it does carry OIS and has an f/1.8 aperture like the 21MP snapper on the back of the Moto Z Force Droid. Another change has a lower capacity 2600mAh juicer providing energy to the Moto Z Droid. The latter model also does not have the “ShatterShield” display.
