Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy C5 Pro smartphone has been spotted on Zauba, an Indian import and export tracking portal. The Galaxy C5 Pro, carrying the model number SM-C5010 was imported to India recently for R&D purpose and evaluation.

In the Zauba listing, the prototype unit has been valued at Rs.20,483, which converts to roughly $300. However, the value listed on the Zauba portal does not usually reflect the retail price of a device.

Along with the Galaxy C5 Pro, Samsung will also be launching the Galaxy C7 Pro, which was spotted on Zauba a few weeks back. Based on a recent Weibo leak, the Galaxy C5 Pro will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset, while the Galaxy C7 Pro is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 chipset under the hood. The Snapdragon 626 is a slight upgrade over the Snapdragon 625 chipset that powers a number of mid-range smartphones released this year. According to Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 626 delivers 10% improvement in performance when compared to the Snapdragon 625.

Both the Galaxy C5 Pro and the Galaxy C7 Pro are expected to be made official next month. Like the Galaxy C5 and the Galaxy C7, we expect the C5 Pro and C7 Pro to be available only in China initially. The Galaxy C-series lineup had so far only been sold in China, but the Galaxy C7 went up for pre-order in the US earlier this month via B&H, which gives us hope that the new Galaxy C5 Pro and Galaxy C7 Pro might be launched in a few markets outside of China.
