Samsung has tendency not to launch certain lineups in select markets, but those are usually entry-level devices. They also did something similar with the Galaxy Note 5, which never reached Europe despite various rumours saying otherwise, and now the company plans something similar for the new Galaxy A (2017) series.
Samsung has now officially confirmed that they have no plans in launching the Galaxy A (2017) series in the United States. Whether this is only in the beginning is unclear, but at this moment you won’t be able to purchase any of the three new phones, including the 4.7-inch Galaxy A3 (2017), the 5.2-inch Galaxy A5 (2017) and the 5.7-inch Galaxy A7 (2017) are stylish and feature something that almost no other rival can brag about: water-protection.
