Samsung Smart City in Gumi Earns UL’s Zero Waste to Landfill

Samsung Electronics introduced that Samsung Smart City in Gumi has achieved Zero Waste to Landfill Gold validation by UL, a worldwide security certification group, on May 7. The validation confirms the corporate’s efforts to recycle 97% of their waste supplies. Samsung Smart City in Gumi is the primary office in South Korea that manufactures completed merchandise to earn validation on the Gold degree from UL.

Samsung Smart City has been managing its ‘green growth’ initiative because it was licensed to the Environmental Management System (ISO14001) and named a ‘green company’ in 1996. The firm continues its efforts to transform supplies waste, together with packaging packing containers and plastics generated throughout manufacturing, into recycling.
