Google’s upcoming Android operating system has yet to be released and we still don’t know the exact release date except “later this summer.” What we do know is that Samsung plans to release the Android 7.0 Nougat for the Galaxy Note 7 in two to three months.
That was confirmed by Samsung Mobile President Koh Dong-jin during a Galaxy Note 7 media event in South Korea. This means that Samsung Galaxy Note7 owners should get the Android 7.0 Nougat by October or November.
“It is very important for us to offer up-to-date information with the new OS, but what’s more crucial is to build a stable and seamless platform for users. That’s why we are planning to do enough beta testing before any OS updates,” said Dong-jin.
