Samsung’s mobile payment service will reportedly be available in India during the first half of this year. Mashable claims Samsung is working with American Express for Pay’s Indian launch. It’ll also try to work with Visa and MasterCard.
Depending on the region, Samsung Pay has had different launch partners. American Express was among the partners in the US, South Korea, and Australia.
Testing of Samsung Pay in India began in December 2016. An update for the Galaxy Note 5 that includes the Pay app was also released in India this week.
