Samsung Gear S3 frontier (LTE) Available in Singapore from…

Samsung Electronics Singapore has just announced that the LTE variant of the Samsung Gear S3 Frontier, will be available for retail purchase from today, 14 January 2017, Saturday. At the same time, it is also introducing iOS compatibility across the newest Samsung Gear devices, which includes the Gear S3, Gear S2 and Gear Fit2 smartwatches and bands.

The latest variant of the Gear S3 brings to you LTE support on the smartwatch thanks to its embedded SIM (eSIM), made possible with a new revolutionary technology from Gemalto. It’s eSIM and On-Demand Connectivity solution comply with GSMA specifications. As such, remote provisioning is possible for the Gear S3 frontier. Telecommunication operators are capable of leveraging on its eSIM so that they can support customers’ subscriptions remotely with ease through a secure platform. As such, consumers can download their respective profiles easily, which can be credited to the flexibility of the smartwatch, which connects to the cellular network, allowing users to be constantly connected no matter where they are.

The Gear S3 frontier (LTE) will go on sale at a retail price of $598 which you can purchase from local telecommunication operators Singtel and Starhub. From the period between 14 January 2017 to 15 February 2017, Samsung will be holding a launch promotion for the Gear S3 frontier (LTE). Those who purchase a Galaxy S7 or S7 Edge smartphone during the launch promotion period can get $50 off their purchase of the Gear S3 frontier (LTE) and will also receive a free strap worth $68.
