As we are approaching the official launch of Galaxy Note 8, which is rumoured to be announced in late August, more information is also leaking online. Due to some issues, Samsung couldn’t place a fingerprint scanner under the screen with Galaxy S8, but it was expected that those problems would be fixed with the upcoming phablet.
However, according to latest details, the company is still struggling with the implementation of the under-glass sensor and most likely the Galaxy Note8 will have the fingerprint scanner on the back.
The report mentions that Samsung is having various technical limitations such as security. Another issue is that the phone doesn’t understand if you are trying to lock/unlock the device or you are using the phone.
