Galaxy Note 8 will have 64GB and 128GB storage options Korean news site Osen has quoted an official Samsung spokesman as saying the upcoming Galaxy Note 8 will have 64GB and 128GB storage options. Both phones will also have a microSD card slot that will let you expand the storage up to 256GB.
there is still a high chance that the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will be launched in just one size, and it will probably be 64GB, since most Samsung flagships are, while if it does launch in two there’s still a fair chance that you’ll only have one of them where you are.
the company has put three ranges of Galaxy Note 8 case – FlexiShield, X-Duo and Ultra-Thin – immediately up for pre-order on retailer partner MobileFun’s US and UK sites. Prices range from $5.49 (£4.99) to $26.99 (£19.99).
These official renders give us a good look at the back of the Note 8, the camera and of course the placement of the fingerprint scanner.
Fingerprint Scanner
It was thought Samsung would be able to fit the Note 8 with a fingerprint scanner under the screen, but a recent set of renders suggest it will, in fact, be placed on the rear of the phone.
The scanner will sit alongside the dual camera, a first for a Samsung phone, heart rate sensor and LED flash, in a protruding rectangle lens.
Display
The good news is the Galaxy Note 8 looks like an even more massive (6.3-inch Vs 6.2-inch) version of the Galaxy S8 Plus coupled with a stylus and exciting dual camera.
Launch Date & Price
Samsung’s Galaxy Note 8 phablet could be unveiled on 26 August, according to a recent rumor, although this hasn’t been officially confirmed by Samsung. It’s also expected to launch in September, but for the mighty high price of £870 or $1120.
If the Note 8 launches in two storage sizes then it’s possible that the bigger one will be even more expensive.
