Samsung’s upcoming entry-level Galaxy J3 (2017) smartphone has made an appearance at GFXBench, re-confirming its key specifications. Previously the smartphone was spotted at TENAA, the US FCC, as well as the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG).

According to the GFXBench listing, the Galaxy J3 (2017), carrying the model number SM-J327 will feature a 5” sized display with 720 x 1280 HD resolution. While the resolution matches the info revealed in the TENAA listing, the display size does not. The TENAA listed revealed a 5.1” screen size with 720p HD resolution for the international variant and 1080p resolution for the China Telecom version.

The smartphone will be powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset clocked at 1.4 GHz, with the Adreno 308 GPU handling the graphics. The quad-core chipset will be paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of built-in storage. The rear camera is apparently going to offer 5MP resolution, while the front-facing camera will be a 2MP unit. The TENAA listing on the other hand suggests the smartphone will pack an 8MP resolution camera at the back and a 5MP unit on the front for selfies. The smartphone will be running on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system at launch, with the Samsung TouchWiz UX layer on top.
