We already knew that Samsung will introduce a new AI virtual assistant with the Galaxy S8. The assistant is allegedly called Bixby and although there has been no official confirmation from the company, one of Samsung’s employee might have accidentally confirmed the rumours.
The new virtual assistant has been confirmed via a new job posting. The LinkedIn profile of a Principal Program Manager mentions that his main focus is to “drive the execution and delivery of Samsung’s upcoming AI (Artificial Intelligence) assistant on the Galaxy S8.” Once the Galaxy S8 goes on sale, expect to see more products with new AI-powered software.
